Rebecca Chieng is the founder and principal trainer of Kids Speak. As a member of Toastmasters International, she has competed in various speech competitions since 2008 at state and regional levels. Her journey in competitive speaking culminated in her qualifying as a Semi-Finalist in the Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking in 2013 (Cincinnati, Ohio).

Trained in Early Childhood Education (University Malaya), she has since combined her passion for public speaking and teaching to enable her students to hone their public speaking as well as presentation skills. Her students have gone on to win speech competitions in schools as well as compete in debate tournaments organized by local universities.

Most recently, she has earned her Train the Trainer certification by PSMB under the Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia.



Faith is a Certified Coach for School Improvement in the District Education Office. She has served in the education field for more than 20 years; working with primary schools, secondary schools, state and district education office.  She conducts trainings and workshops for in-service teachers. 

Faith holds a post-grad degree in ESL.  Her domains of interests include human communication, deaf and the hard of hearing, web design and programming.  Faith has written and published several academic articles on ESL. Her other awards, among others, include 1st runner up for state level creative writing (2011), MELTA Basil Wijasuriya Award (2010) and The Most Innovative Research for UM111 Research Expo (2017).

Faith runs Everyday English programme for Kids Speak. The main objective of the programme is to build confidence and assist second language learners in speaking the language fluently with confidence and accuracy.



Having studied, trained, and taught in Singapore, Sze-Lyn has had experience in teaching IGCSE and A-Level English Language, Literature in English, General Paper and Global Perspectives for the past 10 years and counting.

Currently, she is an in-house teacher trainer, where she ensures that she is always kept updated with the latest pedagogical methods. She is also the founder of Little Story Club, which is a monthly book club aimed to encourage the love for reading for children big and small.
