KSEE VOCABULARY CONTEST
KSEE students contest each other on their vocabulary power every semester. The game set employed for the contest is Trap The Words. It is an original set of educational card games designed by enthusiastic teachers, Muhammad Nazmi bin Rosli and Catherine Janet.
This year the top players for each class are as follow:

KSEE FIELD TRIP (2019)
KSEE FIELD TRIP TO VH GREEN NATURE PARK
KSEE students made a trip to VH Green Nature Park on 20th April 2019. The park is an outdoor classroom with unique landscaping to integrate educational elements into existing nature already found in the area. Kids Speak made special arrangement for the field trip, where students were given park tour in English, engaged in Scavenger Hunt and other interactive activities.

In 2019, the senior Kids Speakers advocated for 4 NGOs: SSD (Sarawak Society for the Deaf), PERKATA (Association for the Welfare of Intellectually Disabled Children), KAA (Kuching Autistic Association) and SCCS (Sarawak Children Cancer Society).
For this event, we are thankful that our corporate sponsor, Perbena Emas Sdn. Bhd. agreed to donate to match our ticket sales (1:1). The donation amounted to RM 9360.

About “Say Yes” 2018
The year 2018 marked the first time Kids Speak organized an advocacy event: “Say Yes!”. For the senior Kids Speakers, the project was a culmination and application of all the skills they have acquired. They were to research, volunteer at and speak for 3 NGOs in our community. Specifically, Hope Place, Dyslexia Association of Sarawak and SSPCA.

Say “Yes” to Kuching
This is an advocacy project by senior students of Kids Speak and it involves all students in the centre. The students will collaborate with 3 NGOs to raise awareness and funds to aid their causes. These NGOs are Dyslexia Association of Sarawak, SSPCA and Hope Place.
